About ClothingOptionalTrips Blog

Before you continue, we want to be clear about what this blog is — and what it isn’t.

This site is about social nudity, also known as naturism or nudism. Social nudity is simply people choosing to be nude in appropriate, respectful settings such as beaches, resorts, or outdoor spaces where nudity is permitted and expected. It is not sexual. It is not a lifestyle focused on sex, exhibitionism, or swinging. It is about comfort, freedom, relaxation, and being present — often in nature, and as a couple.

Throughout this blog, you may see real photos of real people, including us, in clothing-optional environments. These images show normal, unposed bodies in everyday situations — walking, sitting, swimming, relaxing. Nothing here is suggestive or intended to arouse. We share these images because many people have never actually seen what social nudity looks like, and imagination often fills that gap with misinformation.

What you will find here:

  • Honest experiences from a married couple who have grown into social nudity over nearly 30 years
  • Calm, respectful discussion of nudism and nude recreation
  • Realistic depictions of what clothing-optional spaces are like
  • Reassurance for people who are curious, nervous, or simply seeking understanding

What you won’t find here:

  • Pornography or explicit sexual content
  • Sexualized posing or behavior
  • Voyeuristic photography
  • Pressure to participate in anything you’re uncomfortable with

If social nudity isn’t for you, that’s perfectly okay. Our goal has never been to convince anyone — only to educate, normalize, and remove fear and misinformation so people can make their own informed choices.

If you’re curious, open-minded, or simply want to understand what social nudity really looks like, you’re in the right place.
